Week 44 - SHAWN-NÉNÉ! TU DORS ?!

This week we did a lot of stuff together as a zone, which is cool because I love everybody in my zone so it makes it really fun

So the elders of Fort-de-France are trying to frequently visit this inactive member lady but she kinda mostly likes us sisters not the elders, so they had the idea to do a little family home evening with us and them, and lemme say it was a bit of a train wreck but SO FUNNY cus bruh she had her two littlest kids who didn't really comprehend anything and then there was this other child?? Who was there??? And she was not hers??? We were like oh what's her name? And she just said "bébé" (that means baby) while shrugging, WAY funny. We all referred to this poor 4 year old as bébé cus nobody knew her name. Elder Broberg waved a cup in front of her face and she was unfazed and he said "classic bébé" which was SO FUNNY. We played fruit basket and killer frog. It was mostly us 4 missionaries and kinda Sœur Penny??? Man it was funny. And on top of it, she was Haitian, so the creole made it all the more comical

OH we rediscovered the My Turn On Earth soundtrack. We've been obsessed with "I have a plan" man why they gotta make Satan like that

Old couple invited all us missionaries over for lunch after church and as we were all sitting, old guy dude was like "les filles" and made us girls set the table for all da boys. Bruhhh so you know what tho, one of the elders, as we got up, said "we can help too" cus you know that's uhh don't shoot me but mysognistic. but yeah he stayed there, BUT there was ANOTHER elder who said NOTHING but just got up and started helping, and even apologized too sr Williams about it discretely. (the other 2 elders get a pass because I don't think they understood what was going on, and when they did, they too got up to help)

So the reason why I'm sharing this is not to be like poor me

No bro it was like 6 knifes no big deal (I maybe didn't actually probably totally threw one at the elder who stayed sitting down anyways)

But yeah so the whole point of me sharing this is, actions speak louder than words. Really powerful. REALLY COOL!

The COOLEST people I know are the ones who live that principle

But of course words are important too. 

Also I was SICK this week but I TOOK MÉDECINE AND.... RESTED?! AND I GOT BETTER!!!!!! Metaphoorrrrrrr!!!!! (last time I was sick it was NOT like this)
