Oh my goodness everybody this week was the most week of my entire mission. That's not a typo. I've never worked harder in my entire year serving
AND STILL THE OPPOSITION CAME SO HARD
BUT I WORKED EVEN HARDER IN RESPONSE AND SAW SO MANY MIRACLES!!!!
We had record breaking (for us) amounts of people found it was so cool

There were miracles every day it was insane, there were 3 different occasions (maybe more I don't remember) where PEOPLE approached US and said "hey you guys are missionaries right?? Yeah I'm interested, can we talk??" ABSOLUTELY WILD I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT!
Here were the scenarios:
1- we were waiting at the door of our friend Monkotu for a lesson. The neighbor working on his motorcycles saw us and said "hey, you haven't introduced yourselves to me" and so I apologized and jumped right into it, and after 2 minutes he had a brochure and a time scheduled for us to come back! MIRACLE
2- We had just parked our car, preparing to get out and go teach 9 year old Winifer, new convert. A guy came up and called out to us so we got out and talked to him, and after a few minutes he had a brochure, our #, and let us know that he really wanted to come to church! MIRACLE
3- we went over to teach the guy in #1 and his parents are from Dominica so he also speaks English. Our lesson was a mix of French and English and it was outside his door on the apartment stairs. After the lesson, we were walking away and a woman called out to us in English. We turned and talked to her (in French this time) , and turns out she had overhead the englishs and identified who we were! she said that she saw our ads for free English class but because it's on Friday evening and in her religion that's the Sabbath, she can't come and wanted to see if there was another day. Cus she wants to come. So after a few minutes we had set up a time and place to meet up so we could do a lil service service and teach her English ourselves! MIRACLE
À part from that, God had just dropped SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES in our laps as we just kept pushing forward each second. They just popped up as we went, in unexpected ways!

Let me be real. For like 3 days this week I HATED IT!!! I HATED IT HERE I HATED DOING THIS WORK AND THE SILLY LITTLE THINGS AND I WANTED TO BE HOME!!! IT WAS GRUELING? But you know what I did? I pushed through (I WANTED TO DIE THOUGH) and said yes this is a new level of hard. But this trial can coexist with Christ-like Attributes and good choices. It was made to. So I kept on going (AHHH I HATED IT)(WHY WAS I SOBBING) and then fast Sunday came and I learned A LOT. cus at the end of the day, it had all kinda just gone away. Gone away! As in no longer bothering me! So the truth is, you just keep on steppin. That's just the thing to do.
Let me tell you the funniest thing. We went to a lady's house who was a Facebook referall. We got talking and deep into the convo she asked us what music we listen to? I was like uhhh general music. And then I was scared cus I was pretty sure she was trying to see if we were a cult. So then she was like name artists. American artists. And then I was like UHHHHHHH THERE ARE 3 ARTISTS COMING TO MIND HARRY STYLES TAYLOR SWIFT AND BSL OKAY SŒUR FELT THINK THINK WHO ELSE BECAUSE IF YOU SAY HARRY OR TAYLOR SHE COULD ACCUSE YOU FOR IDOL WORSHIP (IDK!?) BUT IF YOU SAY BSL SHE MIGHT HEAR THE NAME WEIRD AND ACCUSE ME OF SIN OR SOMETHING (IDK!!!!) THINK THINK THINK ANYONE ELSE COME ON JUST SAY A NAME ANY NAME!!!

Yeah that was so funny after that lesson we got in the car and sister Kaberry was like RUTH B?? I WAS SO CONFUSED! I WAS LIKE NO... SISTER FELT DOESN'T LIKE RUTH B... SHE'S LYING.. WE WERE LAUGHING SO HARD HAHA (I'm sorry Ruth B)

Once I was at this house on top of a hill and it got to the point where I was holding up the book of mormon in the air and preaching about it and this little group of people had gathered and were listening (it started with talking to one person and others heard and slowly came) , that felt cool. Another time I was teafhing a lesson and the guy was missing the point and going on tangents about unimportant details and so I just crouched down (he was sitting I was standing) and look him in the eye and was able to testify about the Book of Mormon he was holding and then he like changed and became still and then I was like you're feeling the spirit right now, you know that different feeling you have right now? And he was like yeah, and he recognized it!!! I knew he was feeling the spirit because I was feeling it. SO POWERFUL. Another instance was similar, another classic case of the ol "but lets make this minor detail the base of all truth" (Caribbean moment
) and the lady got saying like "how do you know you won't join another religioon one day huh?" And I replied "that's a great question. And it makes sense you'd ask that, because I myself have asked that many times, cus there's people who seem just as convinced as I am about their beliefs, " and then the spirit LIT THE ROOM ON FIRE as I just smacked her (kindly) with "but I cannot deny what the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me. And He has confirmed to me that the book of mormon is true, and this is Christ's true church. And He doesn't want me to come once, but to stay forever. So I'm here forever" AND IT WAS SO SO SO COOL AND SHE HAD THAT SAME REACTION AS THAT OTHER GUY WHERE SHE WENT FROM UNFOCUSED, QUICK, AND KINDA A LITTLE ACCUSATORY TO THEN JUST STOPPED IN HER TRACKS, AND BECAME STILL (THAT'S A GOOD WORD, STILL) AND THEN LISTENING. each person I've had an experience like that with always has given that same "ah.." noise when the spirit htis with full force. Then he was like "Eve screwed us over" and I'm glad we are on chill terms with him so then I could say TU ES SEXIST !!!!! Then he was messaging us that night all like "I'm not sexist I swear" and then we were like "okay then read the book of Mòmon" there's no correlation between the two we are just trying to get him to read the dang thing. No I'm joking don't worry we're tight with Kevin. It's just. A funny story. Not all men think like that there are good people out there
And we're going to stop teaching him cus we realized why he's so tight with us yeah he asked for sister kaberry's number

then she was like I'M SO SORRY IT'S NOT A SWEAR WORD IN AUSTRALIA!!!!!! yeah funny thing, apparently her dad in CANADA convinced their whole branch of their Australian culture so there's this little branch in Canada who says the d word and h word HAHAha
