A year ago today I was set apart to be a missionary! Nice.
In all seriousness, this week was different, I moved in with the senior couple because I wasn't safe around my companion. So uhhhhh I didn't really do missionary work for a week.
BUT YOU KNOW WHAT! I HAVE JOY AND PEACE! REGARDLESS OF MY CIRCUMSTANCES! It's insane!
And that's exactly what I learned in this past year, I learned Jesus. And I learned the right way to follow Him. And by doing that, I have joy and peace!
2 Nephi 10:23 "Therefore, cheer up your hearts, and remember that ye are free to act for yourselves—to choose the way of everlasting death or the way of eternal life."
I finally started to believe and live that scripture and it's TRUE. I am in a situation where I could be so angry and be justified in my anger, but in choosing Jesus's way, I am FREE and I am CONFIDENT and have so much joy and peace!
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO COMPLAIN!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!! AND NEITHER DO YOU!
After surviving these last 365 days, I feel like I can live through ANYTHING. Joyfully and peacefully.
The little things really are the most important
