Week 58 - "I think we should go back to only having male missionaries"

Hello everyone

We went to visit a freaking funny old lady member (as we do) and normally I'm like ugmmm you lady are going to talk for ever and that's BORING. But then I was like nah she's crazy let me choose fun. So then I totaaally fed into her babbling and when she was talking about her travels (for the temple) I was like "there's a song in English that says 'Mr Worldwide' and that's you!" but I said the Mr worldwide part in English and OH man that was the best choice I made this week, sister kaberry lost it and had to turn away and Sœur Miath (Mr worldwide) was just kinda going along with it like  and it was so funny I was like OUI SŒUR MIATH TU ES MR WORLDWIDE 

Ever since then my perspective on visiting her has done a 180. Humor is helpful

Had some mad revelations from listening and audio of this dude (member) talk about CS LEWIS stuff and I was like DANG. I actually AM a child of God, like He's not too cool for me quoi he like actually really loves me, I really am a stranger here. Definitely satisfied longstanding questions of the soul

One thing I concluded from that was that here on earth, everything is strange to us. We are completely strangers to everything here. But there's ONE thing here on earth that was with us before this life. Each other! We are strangers to this life and everything in it, but not strangers to each other. How great how great great great. That's why you gotta love one another, cool that God didn't want us to be alone on our own individual earth's. He knew we'd be each other's best shots at progression

Met a cool dude who responded to us knocking on his door as if it was a normal part of his daily routine to accept missionaries. I was like HUH. But no wonder you're successful at such a young age. Anyways I can't explain it. His names Paris and he made me happy. 

UGGHHHHHH SAT AND SUN I WANTED TO LISTEN TO THE WEEKND SOOOO BAD (funny cus it was the weekend ) EVEN THOUGH WE'RE GOOOOING THROUGH IT AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL ALLOOOOONE JUST KNWO THAT I WOULD DIE FOR YOU!!! BABY I WOULD DIE FOR YOUUUUU!!!! 

OOOOOH WE FOUND 3 TEEN GIRLS IN THE SAME NEIGHBORHOOD OOOOIIIO BLESSINGS! We'd been hoping to find less old men and more young women and BAM 

Oh and one of them was a cool find, I heard that familiar music and I was like "THAT IS DOMINICAN MUSIC" so we followed the sound and shouted up to some kitchen window to some chick, I asked her if she was Dominican and she said she was Spanish, well a mix. Then we came up and WOOO it was fun. She's 14 I hope her parents don't restrict her

I freaking love little kids everytime we see them they're so cool

OHH we visited Suzette (inactive member) and I was like man I wish we'd have a better connection with this chick. Social concersjkn yknwo? Then as sbe was doing her hair (takes a LONG TIME, days) I was like dang If I know how to do that I'd help you and BOOM that's where things took off!!! She was then teaching us how to braid (not the white girl hair way), which we used our big toes to anchor the hair (new experience for the both of us) but yeah Suzette was all into it and now we even have a homework assignment. CORONA TIME BABEY EXCEPT INSTEAD OF CORONA IT'S MIRACLE!!!!! WOOOOOO

OOOOOOOH WE HAD SUCH A GREAT BLESSING so we went to teach thus lady English a while back. Wasn't money moves. But her dominican friend was there and we got her number. She's reached out to us several times, we were sure what the move was, if she was wanted to learn English or just hangout. But we met up with her this week. And it was just us three sitting on the beach at dusk, and I was shocked to discover that as we kinda felt out the vibes of the situation through small talk, she wanted to hear our message about God! So then we had an AWESOME DISCUSSION and she was flattered after an hour or so when we let her know we could give her a free book of Mormon right then and there. Really cool experience, the spirit was there strong. Cool to learn how the spirit makes you feel who is interested and who isn't in their hearts

Newly baptized dude Malek joined in our lesson after church and was KILLER OH MY GOSH IT WAS SO COOL GOD'S POWER THAT'S IN THIS CHURCH IS SO COOL. And now elder tobler is getting transferred, and he was the one who baptized Malek and they have some cool connection and so I'll include pics of them
