This week we knocked on a ladies door and she told us to come back on new years eve and she'd make us food
So we came back and she made a HUGE meal for us and made us keep all the food it was insane
Pretty slow week honestly
I'm sick today so that's lame. I feel very weird
I learn a lot from the other missionaries here
OH our house has been WACK like scary wack and so we had it dedicated. Or rededicated. Who knows.
January 5th is 4 months on a mission for me, that means 14 more to go
There was a little little boy crying and sœur Toussaint remembered who his parents where and where they lived cus we knocked on their door once and so she was able to get his mom. Turns out he was just playing with friends and all of them went to the park but he knew he wasn't allowed to go that far alone and so he just sat there crying. His mom took him to the park. Really interesting. He couldn't have been older than 6. Everyone has spiritual gifts, his is obedience for sure. Also he was SOBBING so it's cool that God was like nooo I don't want him crying alone outside I'll go send les sœurs to help
Seriously not much happened this week. So maybe a faith crisis is coming up, who knows
Everyone find one part of your identity that is NOT based on Christ and then find a way to change that so it is
OH I gave a talk this week. What is important is to remember the first few commandments, love God and love your neighbor BECAUSE God wants us to KNOW and MASTER mercy, and we can only do that through our relationships. With God, we RECEIVE mercy, and with our neighbors, we GIVE mercy. And Christ is the source of all mercy. So yeah what could go wrong? Nothing. Actually just start asking yourself: what could go right?
Actually we should all do that more often. Whenever we're hesitant, about doing something we know is good, and we're scared, or it's hard, instead of focusing on the things that could go wrong, look for the things that could go right, and also know that we can't comprehend ALL the things that could go right! How cool
OK that's all
