Week 62 - Good stuff

"The Lord will accept that which is enough, with a good deal more pleasure and satisfaction than that which is too much and unnecessary" no need for peace at any price, the price was already paid. His yolk is easy and His burden is light, don't try to change that

Tuesday we had MLC and that was fun. It was also Halloween I was a Zebra aka I wore a striped shirt. I also ate a Twix

Visited Monique at the hospital on Thursday, that was FUN. Her roommate decided to listen in and at the end she took a Book of Mormon. They're cool old ladies I love. Them. Went on a sweeping frenzy it was wild

Thursday woke up dead, prayed. BOOM BABEY INDEXING! Let me explain. A few days before I heard genealogy mentioned in a talk, and I was like Hm. I don't do that, and I NEED to be doing that as a member of this church. So the thought floated around for a bit. Back to Thursday, In the morning I was feeling DOWN. But yk I tried to be faithful n all that, and then I remembered family history work stuff so I mentioned to sister Kaberry something about wanted to take some time on pdays to do it. Then she was like OHHH MY GOSHHH I LOVE DOING THAT, INDEXING IS SO FUN!!! And yeah that gave me something to look forward to and brightened my day. Great day, taught Rudy about the priesthood through an analogy. Then he was like "so who in Guadeloupe has the priesthood to baptise me?" niiiiiiiiice

we knock on doors allllll day and we love it. Good convos. Cool to see my desires change and develop, good stuff. 

Funny story, Saturday morning we went to the church at 7:30 because the elders asked us to start filling the baptismal font for their baptism at 10:00, cus there was a plumber coming to their house so they couldn't. So we did, and then time passed.... More time passed.... In short, we ended up just hosting a baptism for the elders, setting up everything and welcoming the dude getting baptised and all that. It was funny too cus the elders showed up and right in time (the plumber had taken a lot longer than expected) for the baptism part, and I said hey did you remember a towel and they had forgot so we drove home and came back with a towel, and right as we walked back in everyone was walking away cus the dude Just got baptised. So that was really really funny cus we were there the ENTIRE morning doing everything but then the 2 minutes we missed was the baptism itself, I laughed about that. The elders made us cookies as a thanks 

CHURCH IS A MESSSSSS

À dude bore his testimony saying that God doesn't speak to sinners and he received revelation to tell a lady that God told Him that He does NOT talk to her because she's a sinner. Whaaaaat??? Second hour Sunday school.... All school, no Sunday. "did you do the readings?" ".. No" "why not?" LADY CHILL. It's half the people's first time at church! And the rest are new members! What!! People were asking questions kinda off topic and she's like "in this class, I make the rules, and we don't ask questions that don't have to do with the lesson" WHAAAAAT?! Then I heard SCREAMING FIGHTING from the other room classroom, it was AWFUL oh my gosh I felt like I was going to cry with how much contention was going on

Then we had like 90 hours of meetings after, and that consisted of people FIGHTING like dogs it was scary, and man it was just extremely unproductive idk how to help this branch 

OH BUT I SAW FRÈRE MAUGRANNNN he's a member from Martinique he's the coolest ever he was visiting Guadeloupe for his mom's b-day. I love that guy

Suzette's an inactive we visit. We never talk about coming back to church, but randomly last night after a visit she just said "December. Im gonna come back to church is December."
